Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon’s Instagram accounts were removed due to their sex offender conviction

From now on, Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon will no longer be able to use this platform

On November 16, netizens discovered that they could not access Jung Joon Young and Choi Jong Hoon’s Instagram accounts.  It has been 2 months since this deprived couple was sentenced to prison for sexual assault, gang rape, secret filming, illegal video distribution, with a sentence of 5 years in prison for Jung Joon Young and 2  year and 6 months in prison for Choi Jong Hoon.

The reason is related to Instagram’s new policy.  This platform announced from now on it would disable the accounts of people who convicted of sex offenses. The case of these two former male idols is similar to Go Young Wook – a former member of the popular 1990s  group Roo’Ra.  Recently, after serving a 5-year prison term for rape, the male star created Instagram account “to interact with fans”, making the public angry.

However, immediately, Go Young Wook’s account was deleted according to new policy of Instagram. Below the post, a lot of netizens cheered: “That’s right, don’t mess with social networks”, “These guys use Instagram for bad purposes, not for good”, “I support Instagram’s new policy “…
