Actor Jo Jung Suk is discussing whether he will join the melodramatic historical drama “Spy” (working title).
An insider from Jam Entertainment, Jo Jung Suk‘s agency, told Star News on the 23rd, “Jo Jung Suk has been proposed to appear in the drama ‘Spy’ and is considering the role positively.”
“Spy” (working title) is a drama that tells the cruel love story of Lee In, a king on the verge of a political power struggle with the royal authority, and Gang Hee Soo, a spy that is trying to seduce him for revenge. The script is written by Kim Sun Deok of tvN’s “The Crowned Clown.”
Jo Jung Suk is reportedly considering appearing after being proposed to play the role of Lee In, a king stained with stigma in the drama.
If Jo Jung Suk confirms his appearance, he will draw keen attention to his decision as this will be his return after a year and a half since the season of tvN drama “Hospital Playlist”.
