Jisoo (BLACKPINK) first revealed about her role in the drama “Snowdrop”: “The movie will have many scary scenes”

The movie project SnowDrop, in which Jisoo (BLACKPINK) is taking on the lead role, is currently attracting a lot of attention

Currently, not only busy with BLACKPINK’s activities, but Jisoo is also focusing on her first lead role in the movie Snowdrop.  This is also a movie that is rated by the Korean press as the hottest project in 2021 because it brings together many famous names.

On the evening of February 15, in the sharing session on Instagram, Jisoo shared about this female lead.  Accordingly, when asked by fans about whether filming SnowDrop is tired or not, the female idol confided: “I’m fine, I feel fine when I join this project. The film director keeps jokingly saying that Yong Cho (Jisoo’s role) is the energy in the movie, is the indispensable character. When filming I was very happy. The movie will have many scary scenes but I think it will be okay.”

It can be said that the audience is very interested in SnowDrop when this project has been shooting for more than half a year, but up to now, there are still no photos leaked.  Therefore, Jisoo’s revelation of her first role in the movie received a lot of attention.

SnowDrop tells the story of Im Suho (Jung Hae In) – a university student who is famous for his attractive, gentle appearance, sweet smile.  However, behind the perfect beauty are many mysterious stories.

One day, Suho suddenly appeared in the female dormitory with his whole body full of blood and accidentally met Young Cho (Jisoo) – who hides him and takes care of his wounds even while facing danger under close surveillance. It is known that the film is set in 1987 when South Korea was governed by a dictatorial government. SnowDrop is written by Yoo Hyun-mi and directed by Jo Hyun-tak, making Snowdrop their second collaboration after having worked together on the hit satirical thriller Sky Castle (2018–19).
