On the 10th anniversary of BLACKPINK’s Jisoo joining YG Entertainment, fans all over the world congratulated her by expressing their love to her.
Jisoo joined YG Entertainment as a trainee through an audition in July 2011. That year, she was 16 years old. She chose YG as her destination to become an actress. But after 10 years, she has achieved more than what she expected.
Unlike YG’s hip-hop image, Jisoo passed the audition by singing Lee Eun-mi’s ballad song ‘I Have a Lover’. Referred to as ‘the pretty trainee’, Jisoo showed off her charm and talent in various official activities. She used to appear in Epik High’s music video and KBS’ drama ‘The Producer’.
Jisoo also appeared in many commercials, including bag commercials, along with actor Lee Min-ho. Jisoo received a lot of expectations because of her pre-debut activities.
Fans all over the world are having a celebration with Jisoo with the phrase ‘JISOO 10 YEARS WITH YG’ and the hashtag ‘#ADecadeWithJISOO’. The hashtag has reached #3 and #5 on Twitter Worldwide Real-Time Trends.

Meanwhile, Jisoo was selected as the global amber ambassador for Dior Fashion and Beauty on her 10th year with YG’s anniversary.
