Jeon So-mi unveils the difference between her current and former agency.
JTBC’s “Idol Room”, which will air on June 18th, will feature Jeon So-mi, who recently made her solo debut with “BIRTHDAY”.
During the recording, Jeon So-mi talked about her self-change after leaving JYP and debut under The Black Label. When MC Jung Hyung-don asked her “Isn’t the two agencies different from each other?”, Jeon replied with “When I went to the karaoke with my friends, they told me that my singing style has changed.“
Jeon So-mi sang her new song and started comparing her singing style. “If JYP was more of a “half voice half air” style, then The Black Label seems to be looking for a little more ‘feel’,” she said. “Because there are many rappers in the company, I think even my walking posture has changed,” she said with a witty rendition of hip-hop swag walking which made everyone laugh.
