Jennie’s “SOLO” reached 50 million views in 4 days and 14 hours, the fastest record for a solo female artist

BLACKPINK Jennie’s first solo song “SOLO” has been on the top of the charts for six consecutive days, and music video views are continuing to rise steadily.

The “SOLO” music video, which was released for the first time on November 12th, has made a record of 50 million views after 4 days and 14 hours in the morning of the 17th, breaking the record for the shortest period for a Korean solo female artist.

Also, Jennie’s charismatic “SOLO” choreography has surpassed 5.7 million views in just one day of release, making incredible performances even when she first released her solo product.

The “SOLO” choreography is an addictive choreography in which one eye catches one’s attention by touching the index finger on one’s shoulder to make a circle of light.

Jennie’s “SOLO” movie also became the main character in YouTube artists’ videos that people watched the most in 24 hours in the world for two consecutive days.

“SOLO” has maintained the top spot in the real-time charts for six consecutive days on major music websites in Korea, taking the top spot in iTunes World Wide Song chart, the first time for a Korean solo artist to reach the top. Pop stars Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande added meaning to their record.
