BlackPink Jennie’s uploaded post on Instagram has become the talk of the town
On April 14th, Jennie posted photos, videos of her visiting an Arboretum in Paju, Gyeonggi on Instagram. The photos of Jennie in front of Tulip flowers and people who are believed to be her dancers, were posted with the caption “Outing”.
The problem is the photo she took of ice creams. The photo showed 7 people with their ice creams in front of the camera. Netizens then commented that this was violating of quarantine rules.
Right after netizens were discussing if it was quarantine rules violating, the post was deleted.
Fans who defended Jennie strongly claimed “They seemed to have meet up for a Youtube video filming”, “Celebrities having meetings is considered work”, “Vlive is also work”
In contrast, netizens who criticized Jennie stated “She admitted that it was just a casual gathering by deleting the post”, “Even if they met up and took off their masks for work, it is necessary to upload the ice cream post?”, “Office workers go to eat separately with 4 people, why should celebrities be an exception?”.
Meanwhile, according to prevention rule “No gatherings over 5 people”, reunions, colleagues’ gatherings, workshops, etc over 5 people are banned.
