BTS won't attend Kohaku Uta Gassen.

Japanese media Sponichi Annex reported on November 10th that BTS won’t be invited to NHK’s “Kohaku Uta Gassen”, Fuji TV’s “FNS Music Festival,” TV Asahi’s  “MUSIC STATION SPECIAL SUPERLIVE.”

According to the media, BTS‘ appearance on these programs was being discussed but was put on hold after member Jimin reportedly wore a T-shirt which reminded people of past atomic bomb event.

Sponichi Annex said: “The problematic t-shirt includes English words, which means “patriotism”, “our history”, “liberation”, and “Korean”, along with pictures of mushroom clouds rising after the atomic bombing. Jimin wore it in March last year, but they did not mention it in the meantime. “
“The decision made by the Korean Supreme Court to compensate the forced conscription victims on October 30 has added to the row of BTS’ T-shirt, putting a damper on the third wave of the Korean Wave.”

Meanwhile, BTS will hold their4 dome tours starting November 13 at Tokyo Dome.
