Despite being mentally prepared, IZ*ONE’s fans still can’t help but be disappointed.
Today (April 29), project girl group IZ*ONE is scheduled to disband. Their beautiful journey, finally, comes to an end.
In early March, IZ*ONE’s agencies announced that the group would be out of contracts and disband by the end of April.
IZ*ONE’s project group promotions will come to an end as planned at the end of April. Each of the 12 members and their agencies carried out open discussions regarding the group’s future. This was the conclusion reached. We would like to thank all of the members for their efforts. We also cheer on each member in their growth.
Not long ago, the girls also held an online concert as the last activity to show their gratitude to fans.
Moreover, according to media outlet reports on April 29, former IZ*ONE members Miyawaki Sakura, Yabuki Nako, and Honda Hitomi are heading home today. The three Japanese idols are about to board a flight on April 29 at 11 AM KST via Incheon International Airport, bound for Japan. There are some rumors that Sakura will join Big Hit Music or YG Ent. However, there has been any confirmation about the female idol’s future plans.
As for the remaining 9 members, they have also returned to their companies and prepared for new plans in the future.
IZ*ONE consists of 12 female members formed in 2018 through Mnet’s survival reality show Produce 48. They are co-managed by Off The Record Entertainment and Swing Entertainment. After more than 2 years, the group disbands despite the efforts of the management companies to prolong the contract. Some of the members have intentions of forming another sub-unit or project group after IZ * ONE’s disbandment.
Hopefully, all 12 girls will always be successful and happy in the future!
