IU, who stopped all activities, announced good news today (Oct 1st)

Singer-actress IU will resume her activities after testing negative for COVID-19.

In an official announcement on Oct 1st, IU‘s agency EDAM Entertainment said, “After coming back from overseas, IU recognized that she was a close contact and underwent a PCR test. She finally tested negative today.”

The agency added, “IU received confirmation that all activities are possible from today (Oct 1st). She will proceed with her planned schedule.”

IU won Rookie Actress Award at the 27th Chunsa International Film Festival held on Sep 30th for her performance in the movie “Broker”, but could not attend the film festival because she was classified as a COVID-19 close contact.
