Actress Lee Ji-eun (IU) and actor Byun Yo-han were honored with Popular Star Award at the 2022 Buil Film Awards.
Byun Yo-han and Lee Ji-eun received the Popular Star Award at the 31st Buil Film Awards, which was held at the Signiel Busan Grand Ballroom in Haeundae-gu, Busan at 5 p.m on October 6th.
At the award ceremony, Byun Yo-han, who took the stage, laughed and said, “I will focus more on popularity than acting”. He called the name of the director and actor of “Hansan: Rising Dragon” and thanked them, saying “I hope Ahn Sung-ki sunbaenim gets well soon. Everyone worked hard and I respect you all. I will continue to work hard as I always do. I love you”.
Lee Ji-eun was absent from the ceremony due to another schedule. Through a video message, she gave her acceptance speech, delivering her gratitude to her fanclub and “Broker” team. She said, “I joined ‘Broker’ as my debut feature film. I had lots of good memories and learned many things from the staff, the director, and senior actors that I really respect”.
