ITZY delivers New Year’s greetings to fans: “May your year be filled with happiness and laughter”
ITZY delivered greetings filled with tiger energy ahead of the Lunar New Year holiday.
ITZY released a video titled “ITZY ‘Happy New Year’│2022 Greetings from ITZY” through their official SNS channel at 20:22 on Jan 28th.
The members shared warm words of blessing, “May all your wishes be fulfilled this year. Let’s all be healthy and may your year be filled with happiness and laughter.” They also made fans happy by announcing active activities, “Our fan meeting is coming soon! We’re doing our best to prepare, so please look forward to it. We’ll get to show you more of our colors this year!”
ITZY achieved their own best records in various indicators in 2021, confirming their presence as “the representative of the 4th generation of K-pop girl groups“. After first entering the Billboard’s main chart “Billboard 200” at #148 with the fourth mini album “GUESS WHO” (April 2021), the group ranked 11th on the chart with the first full album “CRAZY IN LOVE” (September 2021), proving their rapid global growth in about five months. In addition, they sold over 840,000 copies with only two albums released last year.
Meanwhile, ITZY will hold their first official fan meeting “ITZY The 1st Fan Meeting ‘ITZY MIDZY, Let’s Fly!‘” at Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul at 5 PM on Feb 19th. They will simultaneously conduct online paid live broadcasts through Beyond LIVE for fans who cannot be with them on the spot. In particular, they are expected to build precious memories with fans around the world by celebrating their 3rd debut anniversary on Feb 12th.
