On August 25th, G-Dragon updated his Instagram story with an excerpt from an 2016 episode of MBC show “Infinity Challenge”. He also added the caption “Happy Birthday my friend Kwanghee #InfinityChallengeMemories”.
The video showed Kwanghee expressing his willingness to become close to G-Dragon, and it seems that G-Dragon remembers this and published the video right on Kwanghee’s birthday.
Seeing this, Kwanghee replied by posting on his own Instagram story a photo of himself and G-Dragon. He also added: “Is this for real? Thank you Jiyoung-ah (G-Dragon’s real name). I didn’t celebrate your birthday on August 18th. I’m so sorry and thank you!!”
G-Dragon and Hwang Kwang Hee previously worked together as the “Hwang Tae Ji” team in the 2015 MBC “Infinite Challenge” Yeongdong Expressway Song Festival. From here, they started to build a tight friendship.
