Is Son Dam-bi a generous person? Whether to attend Gong Hyo-jin’s wedding or not, the official position has been revealed
Actress Son Dam-bi expressed her position on attending the wedding of actress Gong Hyo-jin, who is known as her close friend.
Gong Hyo-jin did not come to Son Dam-bi‘s wedding in May. Gong Hyo-jin is getting married to singer Kevin Oh, who is 10 years younger than her, in New York, USA.
Gong Hyo-jin’s agency Management Soop announced on Oct 11th, “Gong Hyo-jin and Kevin Oh will hold a small wedding in New York on Oct 11th local time. Only family members and close acquaintances will attend.” The schedule including the specific wedding venue and time is not disclosed, but the wedding will take place on Oct 12th KST.
Meanwhile, Son Dam-bi’s agency announced their position regarding Gong Hyo-jin’s wedding. An official from Son Dam-bi’s agency H& Entertainment told My Daily on Oct 11th, “There is nothing we can say because it is Son Dam-bi’s personal schedule.” So far, there has been no mention of Gong Hyo-jin’s wedding on Son Dam-bi’s Instagram.
However, actress Jung Ryeo-won said that she would attend Gong Hyo-jin’s wedding. Son Dam-bi and Jung Ryeo-won are under the same agency. An official from H& Entertainment told My Daily, “Jung Ryeo-won will attend the wedding. She will attend the wedding during her overseas schedule including the London International Film Festival and the San Diego International Film Festival.”
Son Dam-bi married former national speed skater Lee Kyu-hyuk on May 13th. However, close friends Gong Hyo-jin and Jung Ryeo-won, who usually boasted their friendship with Son Dam-bi, did not attend the wedding. Some netizens raised suspicions that there might be problems with their friendship. There were also “cut-off” and “discord” rumors.
Then Son Dam-bi personally expressed her position. On May 15th, right after the wedding, Son Dam-bi wrote on Instagram, “People I love who came to the wedding, thank you so much.
