Kim Min-joo, a former member of IZ*ONE, has decided to walk the path of an actress.
Urban Works said on the news on October 7th, “It is true that Kim Min-joo was offered to join HYBE’s girl group. However, due to her strong will for acting, she will soon start her acting career.”
Earlier, IZ*ONE, a project group to which Kim Min-joo belongs, was officially disbanded after April 29th. Since then, Kim Min-joo has been embroiled in rumors of joining HYBE’s rookie girlgroup with Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chae-won. However, she has decided to walk the path of an actress.
On Sep 23rd, HYBE released an official statement regarding the rumored signed exclusive contract with Miyawaki Sakura and the discussion of Kim Min-joo’s contract, saying, “We cannot confirm the details of the artist’s contract. We ask for your understanding”.
Meanwhile, Kwon Eun-bi, Choi Ye-na, and Jo Yu-ri from IZ*ONE are currently promoting through solo activities.
