Wanna One’s new company has received tons of complains from fans after the release of the group’s new album.
On June 4th, Wanna One officially returned with the new album “1÷χ=1 (UNDIVIDED)”. However, since then, a great amount of fans have dissatisfied with the quality of this album when they unboxed this music product. To be specific, the images in the attached photobook are extremely blurry and the printing quality is really low, making fans unable to recognize the members’ faces.
Besides, Kang Daniel is even completely cut out from the group photo. As for the posters, Swing Entertainment (Wanna One’s company) re-used the old teaser photos, in which the photo of the sub-unit Lean On Me is severely blurry meanwhile the photo of Triple Position clearly “biases” Kang Daniel.
The reasons above make the album “1÷χ=1 (UNDIVIDED)” become a poor-quality product in fans’ opinion. Netizens have accused Swing of not making enough effort to produce the album for its own artist, leading to the offensive feelings of the fans.
Moreover, lately, Swing Entertainment announced a notice about venue changes of Wanna One’s concerts in some US cities. According to the news, the new venues’ capacities are much lower than those of the original venues. For example, the number of seats in Atlanta’s new venue is 2.750 seats instead of 13.000, in Dallas, there are 6.300 seats instead of 13.500 and in Chicago, there are 4.400 seats instead of 18.500.
Fans are inevitably annoyed at Swing Entertainment changing the concert venues, as certainly, Wanna One’s popularity is not as huge as it is in Korea. In Korea, the group can attract tens of thousands fans, but it can’t be the same in the largest music market of the world. On many forums, netizens are continually criticizing Swing for being so “illusional” and they’re also claiming that these actions from the company can negatively affect Wanna One’s reputation.
