HYBE announced good news about Jimin’s recovery from appendicitis surgery and virus infection
Fans are relieved to hear that Jimin will come back soon.
Big Hit Music, BTS’s agency, announced that Jimin has been discharged from the hospital through the fan community Weverse on February 5th. An official from Big Hit Music said, “Jimin was discharged from the hospital early on February 5th as his COVID-19 quarantine period ended after appendicitis surgery.”

The official said, “Jimin showed no special symptoms during the treatment period. He had mild sore throat symptoms at the beginning of hospitalization, but has completely recovered,” he explained.
Regarding the idol’s appendicitis surgery, he explained, “He was advised by the medical staff that the surgical part is also recovering stably and quickly.” He then said, “We deeply thank the fans and medical staff for worrying about the artist’s health.”
Jimin’s group BTS is scheduled to hold a concert in Seoul next month.
