After 2 consecutive episodes witnessing worrying signs of cooling down, Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah‘s Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha finally regained its form in episode 9. The drama saw a significant increase in viewership for the latest episode, taking first place in the time frame with an average nationwide rating of 9.1%.
Also participating in the weekend drama race, Kim Go Eun‘s Yumi’s Cells finally started to have an increase in ratings, reaching 2.4% for episode 4 – the highest number ever recorded by the drama.
Meanwhile, the drama One The Woman continued its stable performance with an average nationwide rating of 12.6%, not only topping the showtime frame but also maintaining its position as the most watched drama of the week broadcast on SBS.
After reaching the highest rating of all time the night before, TV blockbuster The Veil saw another drop in viewership ratings, from 9.8 to only 8.3 for episode 4. This decline is probably because the drama airs in the same time slot as One The Woman, so there is a competition in ratings.
The most remarkable achievement is the opening of the weekend drama Young Lady And Gentleman on KBS 2TV. Despite not being well-known internationally, with a not so popular cast, since it’s a weekend drama of a major network, Young Lady And Gentleman still had a promising start with a significant national average rating, up to 22.7%.
