The ongoing conflict with Blockberry Creative is not the first time Chuu got involved in a power trip controversy.
Chuu was recently expelled from LOONA. She was accused by her former agency of abusing her power and using violent language towards the staff. What many people don’t know is, three years ago, Chuu was embroiled in an unexpected controversy related to power abuse.
At the time, during the recording of the 2020 Lunar New Year Special Idol Star Championships, a staff member allegedly pulled Chuu’s hair roughly, causing a controversy over abuse. In the released video, a male staff member roughly grabbed Chu’s hair while LOONA was preparing for filming.
On December 17, 2019, ‘ISAC’ side said, “During an interview at the recording site of ‘ISAC’ on December 16th, a staff member had a rude act of pulling LOONA member Chuu’s hair. We sincerely apologize to Chuu, the staff, and the fans. The staff in question is deeply reflecting and has sincerely apologized to Chuu.”
Recently, controversy arose again when Chu was kicked out of LOONA and the agency for allegedly acting violently towards staff members, and here’s why fans don’t believe it.
