Actress Han So-hee expressed her feelings about the controversy over her photos in the past.
Han So-hee recently gained popularity worldwide through her performance in Netflix’s “My Name”. Even though the series was released a month ago, it is still drawing attention as it ranks in the top 10 of Netflix today.
Han So-hee debuted in 2017 with the series “Reunited Worlds” before making her name famous with her roles in JTBC’s “The World of The Married” and Netflix’s “My Name”. Many like Han So-hee, not just for her good acting, but also for her confident response whenever a controversy arises regarding her.
Han So-hee was at the center of attention after her past photos, which is of her biting a cigarette and arms full of tattoo, was belatedly discovered as she was being noticed for her appearance in “The World of The Married”.
In relation to that, Han So-hee said in an interview at the end of the drama, “As my work is becoming a hot issue, the audience also become interested in my past. However, that past self was me, and myself now is also me. I don’t think there is any much difference.”
“When you work in this industry, you have a lot of restrictions on your life. As I try to keep up with it, the present’s me is the only perfect one, there’s no such thing as the past. It was only 3, 4 years ago. I think female fans really like those aspects of me. I’m grateful,” she added.
Fans then cheered and complimented Han So-hee for her cool response to the controversy that was a hot topic at the time.
Meanwhile, Han So-hee has been appearing in a series of successful dramas such as “Nevertheless” and “My Name” since her rise to stardom with “The World of the Married”.
