Going viral, “Doctor Cha” surpassed 16% in viewership after airing 8 episodes

“Doctor Cha” continues to boast its hot popularity by breaking its own highest viewer ratings once again.

According to Nielsen Korea on May 8th, episode 8 of JTBC’s Sat-Sun drama “Doctor Cha”, which aired on May 7th, recorded an average nationwide rating of 16.2%. This result showed an increase of about 3% from its previous rating peak of 13.203% achieved in episode 6. In Seoul area, the drama recorded 16.9%.

With this performance, “Doctor Cha” is also ahead of the previous record-holder “Agency”, which placed 5th in JTBC’s all-drama rating rankings with 16.04%.

In the recent episode, the scene where Seo In Ho (Kim Byung Chul) is caught having an affair by his family was depicted.
