“God Yoo” – Yoo Jae Suk shed tears while telling the story of his 2-week self-quarantine

Yoo Jae Suk felt emotional while sharing his story during the quarantine period on “Yoo Quiz on the Block”, drawing attention.

In the episode of “You Quiz on the Block” on August 18, special footage related to Olympics was broadcasted.

In the opening greeting of the show, Yoo Jae Suk and Cho Se Ho mentioned more details about the quarantine period. They explained. “I paid more attention to the quarantine regulations. I checked my conditions with self-test kits, and the staff had to wear face shields.”

Cho Se Ho comforted Yoo Jae Suk, who had been quarantined for 2 weeks, saying, “You’ve worked hard, harder than anyone else”. The Nation’s MC shared, “I am able to come back here healthily after the quarantine time thanks to many people who had been worried and cheered for me.”

Cho Se Ho said, “I remember your voice when I called and asked what you were doing, and you answered ‘I’m just lying down, did you watch the Olympics? I’m crazy with it.” The atmosphere suddenly changed when Olympics was mentioned. Yoo Jae Suk said, “During the quarantine period, I enjoyed calling my colleagues, and the Olympics atmosphere was extremely great. Our athletes had done so well.”

They recalled the scene when the national judo athlete Ahn Chang Rim won the bronze medal with his success in piggyback riding in the last 7 seconds.

Yoo Jae Suk said, “I saw it during my quarantine time and had to scream alone. I stood up and shouted at the piggyback scene.”

Yoo Jae Suk then introduced the national rugby players and especially mentioned Andre Jin and Jeong Yeon Sik, who scored for the first time since Olympics 98. The MC shared, “I cried while watching the Olympics during my lonely self-quarantine time.”

He added, “My eyes turned red after watching the rugby match. Our players had tried their best, and they had put everything into the game. I just kept on watching till the end of the match.”
