Girls Planet 999’s 1st place trainee received criticism for singing out of tune during practice

Yurina – Girls Planet 999 current 1st place contestant received a lot of expectations, but during practice, she broke down because she kept making mistakes.

After the first elimination round, Japanese trainee – Kawaguchi Yurina unexpectedly ranked 1st place, temporarily leading the race of Girls Planet 999. Right from the beginning of the show, she has received many compliments from the judges and the viewers, so many people were expecting Yurina to showcase more in the next rounds.

However, in episode 6 aired on the evening of September 10, Yurina burst into tears because she did not fulfill her role well in the group. BTOB’s Missing You team consists of 6 trainees: Kawaguchi Yurina, Kubo Reina, An Jeongmin, Zhou Xinyu, Lee Hyewon, Lee Cheukying.

During the practice evaluation, Yurina was out of tune, causing the other members unable to react in time. The judges expressed their dissatisfaction and thought that the 1st place trainee was supposed to do better. Yurina was the reason why her team had a disappointing performance.

“Yurina, you have to practice harder. Your rank can’t go up anymore, it can only drop from now on,” a mentor reminded the Japanese trainee who ranked 1st.
