The members of girl group GFRIEND showed off their strong friendship.
On Oct 31st, Umji uploaded a photo with the appearance of all 6 former GFRIEND members on her Instagram story. She attached a caption, “I’ll be with you until the end next time, so have fun today (moderately) and go home safely. Goodbye. Everyone is so pretty.” It seems that Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB and Umji had a good time at a restaurant.
Sowon posted several photos of herself on SNS along with the caption, “SinB took pictures, Eunha cheered, Yerin confirmed and Yuju remained idle.” Yerin also wrote below her SNS post, “Sowon and Eunha chose the pictures, SinB was curious and Yuju was just looking.”
Eunha left a message on SNS, “SinB took pictures, Yerin picked them up, Yuju laughed and Sowon hit me.” Yuju made everyone burst into laughter with her caption, “A bystander appeared.” SinB also uploaded some photos that appeared to have been taken that day and added, “Okay!”
Like that, GFRIEND members have continued to maintain their strong friendship even after the group’s disbandment, giving off a warm feeling. Recently, they drew attention by revealing their group chat’s texts. In their group conversation, GFRIEND members expressed their affection for each other with sweet messages, such as “I love you”, “Love you, too”, “Your day will be full of happiness”, “I love you all a lot”.
In 2015, GFRIEND debuted as a girl group of 6 members, including Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji. With numerous hits, such as “Glass Bead”, “Me gustas tu”, “Rough”, “Love Whisper”, “Time For The Moon Night”, “Sunny Summer”, “Sunrise”, “Fever”, “Apple” and “Mago”, GFRIEND has received so much love and is praised as a representative of KPOP girl groups.
Wrapping up their 7-year group activity, GFRIEND members didn’t renew their contract with Source Music. Eunha, SinB, and Umji signed new exclusive contracts with Big Planet Made and are making a fresh start as a trio group called “VIVIZ”. Meanwhile, it is also announced that Kang Daniel’s company – KONNECT Entertainment will be in charge of Yuju’s music activities.
Sowon and Yerin turned to acting. Sowon signed an exclusive contract with IOK COMPANY and changed her stage name to Kim So-jung. Yerin signed to Sublime Artist Agency and was recently confirmed to appear in a web drama.
