GFRIEND Yuju Has Officially Signed a Contract With Kang Daniel’s KONNECT ENTERTAINMENT

On May 22, 2021, the six-year contract of girl group GFRIEND with their label Source Music came to an end. The members decided not to renew the contract and, furthermore, got separated from each other. The members then also found their own ways on their career paths.

As of September 11, netizens are excited by the news that Yuju has officially signed a contract with KONNECT ENTERTAINMENT.


Accordingly, KONNECT ENTERTAINMENT issued a statement, saying: “We will actively support Yuju so that she can show her full potential through optimized professional management.”

Founded by Kang Daniel, Konnect Entertainment is growing rapidly. Recently, the company began to expand the artist line-up with former 2NE1 leader CL, rapper Chancellor and GFRIEND’s main vocalist Yuju.
