From 2020, fans might not be able to see these 9 male idols on stage for a long time

Jin (BTS), Baekhyun, Chanyeol, Chen (EXO) and some other male K-Pop idols might have to serve an emergency enlistment, unable to participate in any art activity in 2 years.

2020 might not be a happy year for fans of these 9 male K-Pop idols such as Jin (BTS), Chen, Baekhyun, Chanyeol (EXO)…They might have to disappear from the entertainment industry for 2 years and unable to participate in any entertainment or business act, according to the law. The question is, why?

The reason is that 2020 is the time when all male idols and singers who were born in 1991 might be required to have an emergency enlistment without any delay due to the new, tighter laws regarding this matter. However, the good news is that these idols will have a shorter service time compared to their seniors thanks to these new regulations. Below are 9 idols who will have to get enlist next year:

Jin (BTS) is at the prime time of his career but he is near the age of getting enlisted in the military. International fans are complaining because that’s not the right time for a member of BTS to go on hiatus when they are on their way of proving themselves on an international scale.
Flower boy members Chanyeol…
… Baekhyun
… and Chen will be the next 3 members of EXO to serve their military service after their oldest brother Xiumin. This will be one of the biggest loss for EXO-L because the group will miss 4 members in the next 2-3 years.
Everyone’s favourite handsome guy L (INFINITE)
Lee Seung Hoon (WINNER)
Ken (VIXX)
Im Hyunsik (BTOB)
…and Shownu (MONSTA X) might not be able to delay their enlistment.
