YouTuber Freezia (real name Song Ji-ah, 25) participated in the Itaewon accident commemoration.
On Oct 31st, Freezia said, “Hello, this is Freezia. My deepest condolences go out to the tragedy in Itaewon on Oct 29th.”
She continued, “As a condolence to share the sadness, the Halloween (ASMR) video uploaded on Oct 28th has been switched to private, and this week’s video upload will also take a break.”
She added, “Once again, I would like to send my deep condolences to the victims and the bereaved families, and I wish the injured to recover as soon as possible.”
On Oct 29th, a crushing accident occurred in Itaewon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul as a large number of people gathered to commemorate Halloween. The government designated a week as a national mourning period until midnight of Nov 5th.
