Wonder Girls’s former member Ye-eun (also known as soloist Ha:tfelt) mentioned her father.
In the teaser on the broadcast of Chanel A’s “Oh Eun-young’s Golden Counseling Center” aired on March 4th, Ha:tfelt’s worries were revealed.
She said, “There are things in this world that should not be forgiven. I’m living with the thought that my father doesn’t exist”.
She confessed, “The news of my father’s fraud broke out and he showed the victim a photo taken with me”, adding, “He called me and asked if I could pay the bail for him. To which extent do we have to forgive people?”
In 2018, Ye-eun and her father, paster Park, were accused of fraud at Suseo Police Station and were investigated by the police as suspects. In addition, Park was even sued for sexually harassing a female believer A.
People at the church said that Park received and scammed the investment amount in the name of promoting an entertainment business. Ye-eun was claimed to have participated in the project based on the fact that her name was found in the attendance check of the business briefing.
However, one of the victims later testified, “Ye-eun has never attended any briefing session”. Therefore, in October of the following year, Ye-eun was cleared of charges related to her father and the fraud.
In February 2019, Park was arrested and sentenced to 6 years in prison for scamming 19.7 billion won from 150 church members and acquaintances. From December 2014 to July last year, he was handed over to trial for stealing 3.1 billion won from church members and participants of the seminar hosted by him. In February this year, he was finally sentenced to 6 years more in prison and ordered to pay 680 million won in compensation for the victims.
