The Japanese newspaper revealed that Jiyoung left the management company Sweet Power due to being sexually harassed by the female president

Rumors say the president is suspected of continued sexual harassment against female labelmates, and she’s rumored to share her bed with female entertainers from the agency. One alleged insider stated, “The president is deeply obsessed with Jiyoung. Jiyoung is very distressed, and she wants to quit.”

This news not only shocked KARA’s fans, but also K-pop fans.  However, not long after that, Jiyoung’s Korean agency KeyEast has denied the rumors, stating, “The report is not true. She has no relation to this situation, and everything is groundless.”

However, the fact that Jiyoung terminated the contract with the Japanese agency still makes people believe that the news is true.  Previously, the female idol signed a contract with KeyEast since December 2019 to manage her activities in Korea, while still operating in Japan.
