Former Lovelyz member Mijoo opens a new chapter of her career as a soloist in an entirely new concept 

Singer Lee Mi Joo will debut as a soloist under the stage name Mijoo on May 17th.

On May 1st, Mijoo’s agency Antenna announced that Mijoo would debut as a solo artist with a motion title logo for her debut single album “MOVIE STAR” as well as a schedule teaser on their official SNS. 

According to the schedule, ahead of her solo debut, Mijoo will present a variety of content teasers, including concept photos, a tracklist release, music video teasers, and pre-listening. In particular, three story films will be posted on Mijoo’s official YouTube channel.

The story of “MOVIE STAR” is born to recap Mijoo’s journey and growth from debut to the present.

Mijoo debuted as a member of the girl group Lovelyz in 2014and has been active in music and entertainment industry with various activities. Mijoo’s first single album that contains the singer’s unique identity will make her solo debut after 9 years in the industry. 

Mijoo’s solo debut album “MOVIE STAR” will be released on May 17th.
