Female idols got into controversy as soon as they debuted

Karina (aespa) or Jisoo (Lovelyz) were criticized when they just debuted in their groups. The incidents significantly have affected the image of these female idols.

aespa is SM’s group with the most controversial debut.  They are not only involved in plagiarism, the group members are also accused of defaming their seniors or cheating fans.  Therefore, right before their debut, aespa had a large number of anti-fans.  Not long ago, a screenshot that was supposed to be Karina’s message with a friend went viral on social media.

In the message, the female idol said BTS, 2 new members of NCT, Sung Chan, Shotaro, and Kai (EXO) were ugly.  The public believed that the account above belonged to Karina because this person disclosed a lot of information completely coinciding with the launch plan of aespa.  Meanwhile, Ning Ning was suspected of taking advantage of fans’ money.

Jisoo (Lovelyz) has a pretty bad career.  Having debuted with Lovelyz not long ago, the singer was accused of bullying by a network account.  The female singer was also accused of sexually abusing a gay lover, seducing taking photos, and spreading it on social networks to threaten.  Lovelyz’s agency representative denied the information and asked the police to step in.

The incident seriously affected Jisoo’s reputation.  The female singer had to temporarily stop working because of a mental break-down.  Up to now, the vocal of Lovelyz is still subjected to criticism from anti-fans.  Having an eye-catching appearance, but because of the scandal when she first debuted, Jisoo couldn’t be famous.

ILUV debuted in 2019. However, after a short time, ILUV risked interruption due to the scandal of former member Shin Minah.  In July, Shin Minah said ILUV members bullied her, causing her to live in fear for half a year.

“I suffer from depression, panic disorder, insomnia after experiencing injustice and pain.  Because there are torturing people that make me live in hell ”, Shin Minah revealed.  After that, ILUV’s management company confirmed that Minah lied and claimed to sue her.  However, the information that the 22-year-old singer gave made ILUV’s career stood a dark future.

Secret Number falls into a similar situation as aespa.  They got into a lot of noise when they debuted because of past incidents.  An account claiming to be Sodam’s former classmate said that the female idol often drank alcohol, skipped school, and isolated others.  At that time, the management company said they would verify the information.

However, this is not the first time Secret Number has been controversial.  During a live stream, two former trainees under YG Entertainment, Denise and Jinny, were criticized for disrespecting BlackPink.  Denise commented, “Who is Jennie?  Who is BlackPink? “.  While Jinny liked to comment that she was better at dancing than Lisa.
