Being asked by surprise at an interview, Lay’s answer made the fans really reassured about his activities with the group in the future.
Recently, a Chinese idol, Lay, has returned to EXO with the album “Don’t Mess Up My Tempo,” but his brief appearance in few seconds was like a guest in the MV. Many fans and reporters wondered and were curious about Lay‘s future plans as an EXO member, but the male idol had very little promotional activities with the group and was focusing solely on solo promotions in America.
However, in an interview with “APEnt”, when suddenly questioned whether he plans to become a solo artist (in the sense of separating from the group for solo activities) Lay answered: “I’m a part of EXO, I love the members, I love my brothers, I just want to say that I will always be there when the members need me, that’s all. When working in a group, I can always share my work, but now I have to do everything myself, and that is really difficult.”
The answer was to clear up fans’ doubts, adding that Lay would still be a “piece” of EXO. However, fans still expect the male idol to have more activities with the group.
