With “Produce X101” famous trainee Yoon Seo-bin embroiled in a personality dispute, fans have issued a statement urging Yoon to leave the show.
On May 6th, online communities on SNS raised controversy over the personality of Yoon Seo-bin, a JYP trainee who is currently competing in Mnet’s “Produce X101.”
The post raised the claim that Yoon Seo-bin used violence at school in the past. According to the report, Yoon Seo-bin’s used to use the name Yoon Byung-hwi and he was a well-known problematic kid at school. In addition, photos of Yoon Seo-bin smoking and drinking when he was still a minor was released.
The gallery of “Produce X101” on DC Inside has issued a statement urging Yoon Seo-bin to leave the show.
“It’s clear that he goes against this project’s motto which is to nurture global idols of national producers, by national producers and for national producers,” the fans said.
Mnet said they are waiting for an answer after inquiring with the agency JYP Entertainment. Yoon’s agency, JYP Entertainment, told Star News that they are currently checking the validity of the aforementioned contents.

We, the community “PRODUCE X101 Gallery” for Mnet audition program “PRODUCE X101”, are writing this statement after receiving the news about trainee Yoon Seo-bin’s past as a bully to remove him from the show.
On May 5th, on most online communities were photos from his graduation album which show his past of being a well-known bully and a delinquent who use school violence towards his classmates every day.
Also, photos of his Facebook where he swears, and footages of him drinking alcohol and smoking in his uniform were exposed.
It’s clear that he goes against this project’s motto which is to nurture global idols of national producers, by national producers and for national producers.
Some of the aforementioned actions can be seen as coming from immaturity, but the victims of his actions are traumatized for life with what he had done to them.
With the reasons above, “PRODUCE X101 Gallery” demands the show “PRODUCE X101” to eliminate Yoon Seo-bin off the show.
