50 influencers in the entertainment industry voted for the most influential Kpop male and female artists in the first half of 2021.
2021 has passed halfway, it is also the time for celebrity influence data analysis units to survey and collect the results of the first 6 months of the year. In the recent past, the Kpop music industry has been affected by the pandemic materially, it does not reduce the quality of Kpop idols’ activities. Even among them, there are artists standing out thanks to their impressive achievements, receiving the public’s compliments.
Recently, SOON ENT, a company specializing in the field of communication and digital marketing, conducted a survey on the influence of artists in the Kpop idol industry. They asked 50 influencers in the entertainment industry about the names they thought were the most influential in the first half of 2021. The questionnaire was divided into 2 categories: ‘Most Influential Male K-Pop Artists’ and ‘Most Influential Female K-Pop Artists’.
5 most influential Kpop male artists in the first half of 2021:
4th place: Monsta X (1 vote) (tied for)
4th place: Kang Daniel (1 vote) (tied for)
3rd place: HIGHLIGHT (3 votes)
2nd place: NCT Dream (4 votes)
1st place: BTS (41 votes)
5 most influential Kpop female artists in the first half of 2021:
5th place: Taeyeon (3 votes)
4th place: MAMAMOO (5 votes)
2nd place: TWICE (9 votes)
2nd place: Bravo Girls (9 votes)
1st place: aespa (24 votes)
Thus, the results named BTS as the most influential male K-pop artist and aespa as the most influential female Kpop artist in the first half of 2021. BTS with an overwhelming number of votes is probably what all many people have known when 41 people are voting for them out of 50 insiders to participate in the vote. On the other hand, aespa also convincingly won 1st place with nearly 50% of the votes even though it’s just a rookie girl group who just debuted in SM from the end of 2020.
