During the probation period, former iKON leader B.I plans to push ahead with his first solo concert

iKON’s former member, B.I (real name Kim Hanbin, 25 years old) has decided to push ahead with his concert while on probation for drug charges.

On September 27, B.I’s agency, IOK COMPANY, stated, “B.I will hold an online concert in collaboration with the famous American media company Live X Live (LXL) starring the participation of famous overseas artists.”

His concert will be held on LXL at 12 PM on the 3rd of next month. It is reported that Pink Sweats, Afgan, Epik High, etc., will join the concert.

As a result, some people voices calling for his sincere self-reflection. Earlier on September 10, B.I was sentenced to 4 years of probation for violating the Narcotics Control Act. He was also ordered 80 hours of community service, 40 hours of drug treatment lectures, and an additional 1.5-million-won fine.

On September 23, B.I’s probation sentence was confirmed as he didn’t submit his appeal. Shortly after hearing the sentence in the first trial, B.I said, “I am still reflecting on myself, and I want to continue to do so in the future”.

In October last year, when his case had not finished yet, B.I was appointed as the youngest CEO of IOK COMPANY and released his solo album, “Waterfall”, in June.

An official of IOK COMPANY said, “Through this concert, we want to deliver B.I messages that he has not been able to tell his fans so far.”
