Drama fans excited about Lim Ji Yeon’s intense acting in “Lies Hidden in My Garden”, “Is that Park Yeon Jin?”

Lim Ji Yeon, who will return to the small screen through “Lies Hidden in My Garden”, already made hot topics with her acting.

On May 30th, Studio Genie released a teaser video of Kim Tae Hee and Lim Ji Yeon, the two main characters of its new drama “Lies Hidden in My Garden”.

The teaser shows Chu Sang Eun (Lim Ji Yeon) confronting Moon Joo Ran (Kim Tae Hee) with provocative lines, such as “My husband is dead”, “Have you ever killed someone?”, etc. As Moon Joo Ran, Kim Tae Hee impressed viewers with her mad expression when saying the line “I remember that smell” in the teaser.

In response to the teaser, netizens raised expectations for the drama, saying “I can see the way Lim Ji Yeon turns her eyes”, “Looks like Park Yeon Jin has just been released from prison”, “This drama is going to be very interesting”, “It’s already scary with just a short teaser”, “It’s gonna be a hit this time”, etc.

Co-starring Lim Ji Yeon and Kim Tae Hee, “Lies Hidden in My Garden” tells the story of two women, one who is living happily in a perfect house envied by others but begins to suspect something while the other struggles to escape from her miserable life.

Kim Tae Hee portrays Moon Joo Ran, a woman with a perfect life who doubts her husband because of the dead body smell in the backyard of their new house. Lim Ji Yeon takes on the role of Chu Sang Eun, who endures her husband’s domestic violence and dreams of escaping from reality. The 8-episode drama “Lies Hidden in My Garden” will premiere on channel ENA on June 19th.

Meanwhile, Lim Ji Yeon will immediately make a comeback with SBS’s drama “National Death Penalty Vote” in August after “Lies Hidden in My Garden” ends.

“National Death Penalty Vote” depicts the story of the police who conduct a national death penalty vote targeting serious criminals and executing them according to the results.
