According to YG Entertainment, the choreography video of ‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ exceeded 400 million views on YouTube at 2:16 am on August 1st.

‘DDU-DU DDU-DU’ is the title track of BLACKPINK‘s first mini-album ‘SQUARE UP‘. The addictive chorus and the point choreography like shooting a pistol with both hands went viral and the MV ranked No.1 in the world’s most watched K-pop music video that year. Recently, it surpassed 1.6 billion views.

The song achieved remarkable results on various major global charts. Immediately after its release, it ranked 40th and 55th on the US Billboard 200 and Hot 100 respectively, as well as on the domestic music charts, it recorded the highest ranking in K-pop girl group history at that time.

On the other hand, BLACKPINK has a total of 29 billion-view videos on YouTube, with more than 63.5 million subscribers to their official YouTube channel. BLACKPINK is No.1 female artist in this field and rapidly catching up with Justin Bieber (64.5 million).
