On the 26th, CNBLUE took the stage at Kyung Hee University’s Seoul Campus Fall Festival. However, during the performance, an emergency occurred in the standing section.
The way the CNBLUE members responded to the situation has become a hot topic as it was shared through online communities.
In the video from that day, Jung Yonghwa, who was passionately singing, suddenly stopped the performance, saying, “Wait. Hold on,” while looking toward the standing area.
He had witnessed the emergency in the crowd. As the staff rushed over, he explained the situation and asked the audience, “Please make way. Are you okay?” while actively responding to the emergency.
Other members also rushed to the front of the stage to assess the situation. Jung Yonghwa asked the audience, “Please help. Is anyone else feeling unwell?” showing concern for the health of the other fans.
He continued, “Please let us know if you’re not feeling well. It can happen when there are so many people.” He even threw water bottles into the crowd to help.
Afterward, Jung Yonghwa said, “We’ll continue once the situation is under control. Please maintain order. I’ll go check on the situation,” and then left the stage. He personally went to the ambulance to check on the fan’s condition before returning to the stage.
CNBLUE has been receiving praise for their calm and perfect response to the unexpected emergency, even though they must have been startled themselves.
Netizens who saw the incident commented, “So cool,” “Even guys would be impressed,” “Handle things like CNBLUE,” “This is why they have longevity,” “More people should hear about this,” “The patient must be so grateful,” and “That’s amazing.”
Meanwhile, CNBLUE will release a new album on October 14.
Starting on the 30th, they will unveil various content, including two versions of concept photos, the tracklist, THE B-LOOP SOUND, X Memory Board, and a highlight medley, one after another.
