CJ ENM and HYBE Confirm I-Land’s Return For Season 2 With Female Version

CJ ENM and HYBE are looking for the next-generation K-pop girl group following the successful debut of ‘ENHYPEN.’

On September 27th, CJ ENM and HYBE’s new joint project I-LAND 2 released a teaser video and started recruiting contestants.  Specifically, cccording to the announcement shared by CJ ENM, “I-LAND 2” has been officially produced and is in the process of receiving applications. The new girl group coming out of this survival show will be under the management of BELIFT LAB.

It is known that all female candidates born from January 1, 2000, to December 31, 2009, can register to participate in the program from September 27 to October 10.  After the contestants pass the profile round, they will be able to participate in auditions held in 7 regions around the world, including Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, Thailand, the United States, and one more location. The broadcast is scheduled to air in the first half of next year. 

Meanwhile, I-Land season 1, which aired on music channel Mnet from June to September of last year, is a reality show that shows the birth of ENHYPEN. It is a joint project of two leading Korean entertainment companies CJ ENM and HYBE, the management company of global artists BTS, Seventeen, and TXT. Following the success of I-Land, ENHYPEN made its debut with the album BORDER: DAY ONE on November 30 of last year in anticipation of global fans. The boy group has now achieved numerous notable successes and has risen to the top of the 4th generation.
