Chinese fans gifted BTS V a mural street at his elementary school to celebrate his birthday

Fans of BTS V prepared a special birthday gift for him.

On December 28th, gifts prepared by the Chinese fanclub in celebration of V’s birthday were revealed, drawing keen attention on all online communities and SNS sites. Among numerous presents, the wall painting especially caught the eyes of everyone.

Fans painted the wall of an elementary school with something related to V. In fact, thís elementary was where V graduated from. This was his old school.

The mural street was decorated with V’s face, congratulatory messages from fans, and an album of songs that V sang. This colorful mural street attracted huge attention from netizens.

The fanclub explained, “The background of this mural was recreated based on Taehyung (V)’s favorite Van Gogh masterpiece ‘Starry Night’. The theme of ‘Starry Night’ was expressed using purple as the main color”. They also installed LED lights in order to make the paintings shine at night.

This mural will last for at least two years. It is known that the fanclub proceeded with this project after spending months discussing with the school and local authorities. V’s birthday is on December 30th.
