On February 5, Cha Eun Woo posted a few pictures on Instagram.  Attached to these photos is the status: ‘The staff, actors, and producers of’ True Beauty ‘, thank you so much for your hard work.  Thank you to everyone who supported ‘True Beauty’ and Suho’

Two of the photos that Cha Eun Woo posted were a picture taken with actress Moon Ga Young on the beach, and another picture of Cha Eun Woo, Moon Ga Young congratulating actor Hwang In Yeop’s birthday.

However, the third photo was fiercely controversial.  It is a photo of the crew together to take a commemorative photo.  A very large number of people gathered together without complying with the social distance rules, even very few people wore masks and wore masks in the wrong way.

It is known that in the past, one of the crew members had been positive for COVID-19.  After that, the crew also announced that they would adhere to all principles of epidemic prevention.  However, this farewell photo reveals the fact that they did not do so, and even gathered in a huge crowd despite the government’s separation regulations.

On the Korean network forum, a Knet posted this post by Cha Eun Woo and took the title: ‘These celebrities make me really angry’.  In the post, this person wrote: “Many people gathered to take pictures, and only about 10 people wore proper masks.  Many of them also wore masks that expose their noses or pull-down under their chins.  Most of them even did not wear a mask.  Although the government has instructed people to be careful and to keep distance, to keep hygiene, these people did not care.”

Immediately, this post became a hot topic.  Netizen indignantly criticized the irresponsibility of the ‘True Beauty’ crew.  Many also feel frustrated by the automatism of many famous people over the epidemic.

Some comments of Knet:

– Why didn’t they really get punished for gathering more than 5 people?

– Is Cha Eun Woo the one who posted this?  Is he crazy?

 – To say that COVID doesn’t scare him at all.  I thought he would get smarter after the incident of Itaewon.

– I went to a wedding a few days ago and we have to wear masks in every picture. But these people did that when the movie ended

After receiving a wave of fierce criticism from netizens, the male lead Cha Eun Woo deleted this post on Instagram.  In addition, the ‘True Beauty’ crew has yet to respond to the incident.  This is considered to be a very unfortunate controversy when the movie, which is making a good impression on netizens, now makes the audience disappointed.
