Bypassing BTS – Black Pink in Japan, TWICE immediately leads 2 top charts of ‘Tower Records’ 2018

Fans will be amazed and proud of the new achievements of the JYP top group.

Tower Records, the world’s largest publisher, have announced their 2018 Best Sellers list. Results are based on all artist’s music recordings which are voted and chosen by fans over the course of the year.

It was a surprise to learn that the top spots of two big charts K-Pop Artists’ Records and K-Pop Artists’ Singles Top 10 belong to none other than the girl group, TWICE. The girls from JYP were named as K-Pop Artists ‘Records / Albums Top 10 for their Japanese album released in September and led the K-Pop Artists’ Singles Top 10 with their 3rd single, “Wake Me Up”. Meanwhile, the second single “Candy Pop” was also ranked # 2 on the chart.

Not only that, TWICE’s Korean music products such as “Summer Nights”, “What is Love?”, “Yes or Yes” also made it to # 1 on the K-Pop Revenue Albums Top 10 list.

Bypassing the strong Korean rivals in the Japanese market such as TVXQ, BTS, BlackPink, EXO, … is an extremely proud record for TWICE. With the current achievements, fans hope that TWICE will develop, set up more victory and a new record in Japan.
