BTS’s V shows off syndrome-like popularity in Japan: All-kill No. 1 in polls, “Veautiful Day” No. 1 in sales 

Japan is called “TaeTae Land” because of BTS V’s popularity. 

From December 5th to December 11th, BTS’s V swept the top spot in various popularity ranking polls held in Japan.

In the ‘K-Pop Male Idol Ranking’ vote conducted by the idol ranking site ‘Nehan’, V recorded 18,721 votes and took first place for 89 consecutive weeks.

On the Korean actor popularity ranking site ‘Bihan’, among a total of 206 Korean actors in their 20s, V received 14,943 votes and ranked first place for 85 consecutive weeks, boasting unrivaled popularity.

In addition, in the K-pop handsome idol vote by ‘K-board’, V ranked first in the general election of actors in Korean dramas in their 20s.

In Japan, V is recognized as K-pop’s representative visual. He is also loved for his outstanding talent as a singer and actor, and is capturing the hearts of Japanese fans as a versatile multi-entertainer.

His photobook ‘Veautiful Days’, which was recently released in celebration of V’s birthday, ranked first in the sales rankings in the photo book category as soon as it started pre-ordering at Rakuten, Japan’s largest Internet shopping mall, on December 9th. 

In the Universal Music Store, it ranked first in the sales ranking and second in the number of views, proving the enthusiastic response. Actor Niiro Shinya also confessed, “I’ve been an ARMY for a long time, but I’ve never bought BTS goods, but I bought Tae Tae’s photobook.”
