BTS’s “Butter” is chosen as the best “Song of the Year” by the U.S media “Consequence of Sound”
BTS topped the list of “Song of the Year” with their global mega-hit song “Butter”, selected by the U.S. music media “Consequence of Sound”.
“Butter” topped the “Top 50 Songs of the Year” category released by the “Consequence of Sound” on its official website on December 7th (local time). Last year, BTS was honored as the “Band of the Year 2020” selected by the same music media. “Consequence of Sound” reported the news of BTS receiving the No. 1 Song of the Year, saying, “The “Butter” music video reached 10 million views in just 13 minutes. This year, our 2020 Band of the Year re-broke a number of records that they’d broken in the first place.”
“Consequence of Sound” said, “The magic of “Butter” has less to do with its consistently bonkers streaming numbers, and more to do with the fact that BTS knows how to make pop magic.”
The media went on to say, “For most of 2021, gatherings, concerts, and those crucial moments of human connection were still impossible. As usual, BTS just wanted to bring people together and make them happy. It’s safe to say they succeeded,” it added.
