BTS set a great record by remaining at number 1 on the US Billboard’s main single chart ‘Hot 100’ for 4 weeks in a row.
On June 21, Billboard released the results of the HOT100 chart in which BTS took the number 1 spot once more.
‘Butter’ went straight to No.1 on the ‘Hot 100’ chart (as of June 5) in the first week of its entry, and maintained the top position for the fourth consecutive week.
According to Billboard, BTS’s “Butter” is only the 13th song to be at the top of the charts for four consecutive weeks among the songs that debuted at number 1 in history. As a group, this is the first record since Aerosmith in 1998 and the first in the 21st century.
Starting with Dynamite, BTS has topped the Hot 100 for four consecutive songs, including the “Savage Love” remix version, “Life Goes On” and “Butter,” showing off its status as the “21st Century Pop Icon.”
