BTS to collaborate with Benny Blanco for special remix of “Blood, Sweat & Tears”

World-famous Kpop group BTS will collaborate with the American song composer and producer Benny Blanco. 

On May 26th, Big Hit Music, the agency of BTS, posted on the group’s official that: “The final 3 songs of #MyBTSTracks, chosen by ARMY (the fandom of BTS), will be reborn into a special remix with the help of the amazing producer Benny Blanco. Be ready to pay close attention.”

#MyBTStracks, which is a way for fans to pick their favorite songs, has been ongoing since May 13th through BTS’s official Twitter account.

The songs that ended up winning the most votes from fans are “Fake Love”, “Life Goes On”, and “Blood, Sweat & Tears”. Their special remixes are scheduled to be released on May 27th on BTS’s Twitter. 

Music producer Benny Blanco has collaborated with various successful musicians such as Halsey, Khalid, Calvin Harris, the late Juice WRLD, and Marshmellow. In 2022, he released the single “Lonely” with Justin Bieber and has enjoyed worldwide popularity ever since.

He also maintains a close relationship with BTS. In April, he posted a photo of himself taken  with BTS after watching the group’s concert “BTS: PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – Las Vegas”, with the caption “I love BTS”. 

BTS will drop the anthology album “Proof” on June 10th, 2022, which consists of a total three CDs, and compile their 9-year career. 

According to revealed track lists, the first CD will cover all the title tracks of BTS’s previous albums, the second CD is filled with solo and unit songs of the seven members, and the third CD will include unreleased eps alongside demo versions of past tracks. The title of this album will be “Yet To Come”.

Prior to the release of this album, BTS will sequentially reveal concept photos for ‘Proof’ on May 28th, 29th, and from May 31st to June 2nd. The teaser video for ‘Yet To Come’ MV will be released on June 8th.
