BTS is the example of idol groups who break their own record. The group is reported to be on the Billboard 200 for nine weeks in a row and have currently sold approximately 1,510,000 copies of their not-yet-released album.
On July 25th, iRiver, the site in charge of BTS’ upcoming album “LOVE YOURSELF 結 ‘Answer‘’s pre-order, revealed that in only a week from July 18th to July 24th, 1,511,910 copies of the album have been pre-ordered, breaking the record of their last album, “LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear’”.
BTS is not only selling their albums in Korea, but are also collaborating with the US’ biggest online commerce company, Amazon. It is reported that the number of pre-orders of “LOVE YOURSELF 結 ‘Answer’” on Amazon has also broken the last record to be in first place. In addition, BTS has also made a record on Billboard for being on the “Billboard 200” for nine weeks in a row, with their third album “LOVE YOURSELF 轉 ‘Tear’”.
According to the latest chart update, the album is now currently in 49th place. With all the records they have broken, BTS’ fans are highly expecting their upcoming album, which will soon be released on August 24th.
