This means that the MAP OF THE SOUL – ON: E concert officially becomes the online concert with the highest number of online viewers ever. Previously, TFBOYS ‘Journey of Light’ online concert surpassed BANG BANG CON when it attracted 786 thousand viewers. With the latest achievement of MAP OF THE SOUL – ON: E, BTS are able to break the record of TFBOYS.
Revenue from this online concert is also estimated to range from 43 – 62.1 million USD while BANG BANG CON earned 26 million USD. Thus, the MAP OF THE SOUL – ON: E concert also helps BTS break their own record for owning the online concert with the highest revenue ever.
So, with only 2 days of online concerts in 2020, BTS has sold 1.75 million tickets. All 62 shows of Love Yourself World Tour lasted for 2 years 2018 – 2019 brought about 2 million spectators while, this time, in just 2 days, BTS attracted nearly the same number of viewers as 62 live showsBTS brought in the audience almost equal to 62 live shows.
