Another global collaboration between RM, the leader of BTS, and renowned American rapper Lil Nas X has happened.
Lil Nas X released “Seoul Town Road (Old Town Road Remix)” with the featuring of RM on the 24th (local time) through music sites and streaming platforms around the world.
The collaboration was made at the suggestion of Lil Nas X, who wanted to collaborate with BTS.
“Seoul Town Road (Old Town Road Remix)” was a remix of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” released in December last year, and RM himself wrote the rap lyrics for his part in English.
In particular, the fact that the existing lyrics and titles have been changed from “Old Town Road” to “Seoul Town Road” to save the distinct feeling of Korea is drawing attention.
Lil Nas X has been at the top of Billboard’s main single chart, “Hot 100” for 16 weeks now with his hit ‘Old Town Road (Remix) (feat. Billy Ray Cyrus)‘.
