BTS’ ‘Permission to Dance’ ranked 16th on the official single chart… ‘Butter’ also ranked 34th

‘Permission to Dance’, the third English song of the group BTS, entered the UK Official Chart at #16. 

According to the official chart announcement on the 16th local time, ‘Permission to Dance’, released on the 9th, ranked 16th in the first week on the latest official single chart. ‘Butter’, which was first released in May, ranked on the chart for 8 weeks and took 34th place, and BTS has two songs on the chart at the same time.

The Official Chart Company, a British music ranking provider, aggregates and releases weekly, and is recognized as a prestigious chart representing the pop market along with Billboard.

BTS rose to the top of the Official Singles Chart as their fandom and public awareness are increasing rapidly in the pop market.

The highest-ranking on their official single chart is recorded 3th place for the two English songs ‘Dynamite’ and ‘Butter’, last year and this year, respectively. BTS’ Korean songs such as ‘Life Goes On’ (last year) and ‘Boy With Luv’ (2019) also recorded high rankings, 10th place and 13th place, respectively.
